Ball Sizes
All bowling balls are the same size - 21cm in diameter, but don't be fooled into thinking they're all the same. We offer a wide range of balls which vary in weight and finger size to help you get the right one for your needs. Remember, your sucess as a bowler lies not in hurling the biggest ball you can find down the lane, but using the most comfortable ball in the right way.
When you check in at the Jet Centre Bowl, you'll be able to find which bowl is right for you using our SmartBall tool. Just go to the counter and test your bowling hand against the range of finger holes available, then look to see which weights are available in that size.
Colour = Weight
When you go to Super Strikes, you'll see a wide range of balls in different colours and you might be tempted to go for your favourite colour. In fact, the balls are colour coded according to their weight.
Size = Comfort
Finger holes are just as important; if you're not comfortable as soon as you pick up the ball, your wrist will soon get tired.
Bring Your Own Kit!
We appreciate the true bowling enthusiast, and we know that some of you have your own customised balls and shoes, tailored just for you. We'd be happy for you to bring them along, but we'd be grateful if you were to check with staff on the day that your kit is suitable.
