Back bigger and better - the Amateur Junior Classic 2011 inter-school ten pin bowling team competition at Super Strikes Bowling in the Jet Centre Coleraine.
Last year Coleraine area school children went head to head to discover the best team of bowlers in the 'Amateur Junior Classic' Inter-school Bowling Championship. This year the challenge is even greater with new Primary School & Special Needs School categories added to the existing Secondary School competition.
The qualifying rounds will be taking place before Easter and then there will be a series of knock outs in the autumn with the overall winner determined on 20th October 2011. The winning teams in each category will be presented with a trophy and an overall best player in each category will also win an award.
"Feedback from schools who competed last year was tremendous, with all schools who competed last year registering to again this year. There is still opportunity for your School to sign up and reap the benefits. This competition provides the schools with an activity that will motivate and encourage children to work as a team while building a sense of pride in their school, as well as provide exciting opportunity to build relationships and compete with others schools in the district," explained Neil Harbinson from Super Strikes at the Jet Centre.
